1. General Provisions

1.1. These terms outline the rules for using the online transcription service provided by AudioNote.

1.2. The online transcription service involves converting audio recordings into text documents.

1.3. AudioNote services are available exclusively to individuals aged 18 or older.

1.4. Using the service constitutes acceptance of these terms and an agreement to comply with them.

1.5. AudioNote reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Any changes will be announced on the company’s website, and users will be notified via email.

1.6. In case of a violation of these terms, AudioNote reserves the right to limit or suspend access to the online transcription service.

1.7. The AudioNote service is not intended for transcribing legal, medical, or other regulated documents. The User agrees not to use the service for processing confidential recordings (e.g., proprietary information, trade secrets, sensitive personal data).

2. Registration and Use of the Service

2.1. To use the online transcription service, users must register on the AudioNote website, providing accurate and up-to-date information.

2.2. Users are responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential.

2.3. Users agree not to share their accounts with other individuals.

2.4. Full access to the transcription service is available after logging into a registered account.

2.5. AudioNote reserves the right to verify the data provided during user registration.

3. Service Usage Terms

3.1. Users agree to provide appropriate audio material for transcription.

3.2. Submitted materials must not infringe on copyright or other third-party rights.

3.3. AudioNote is not liable for any copyright or third-party rights violations resulting from materials submitted by users for transcription.

3.4. Users agree not to submit materials containing illegal, offensive, vulgar, or otherwise inappropriate content.

3.5. AudioNote reserves the right to refuse service if submitted materials violate these terms.

3.6. The User is prohibited from submitting confidential recordings, including: Trade secrets, Information covered by NDAs, Confidential business meetings, Medical or legal data.

3.7. AudioNote does not guarantee the security of uploaded recordings and recommends Users delete files from the system after transcription

4. Fees and Payments

4.1. AudioNote charges fees for its online transcription service in accordance with the pricing published on its website.

4.2. Fees must be paid prior to initiating transcription.

4.3. AudioNote reserves the right to modify its pricing at any time. Any changes will be announced on the website with sufficient notice.

4.4. Fees are non-refundable unless AudioNote determines that the service was not performed in accordance with the agreement.

5. Liability

5.1. AudioNote strives to provide reliable and professional transcription services but does not guarantee accuracy or completeness.

5.2. AudioNote is not responsible for any damages resulting from the use of the transcription service, including data or information loss.

5.3. AudioNote is not liable for technical issues affecting service availability or quality.

5.4. AudioNote shall not be liable for damages arising from the use of the service for legal, medical, or confidential transcripts, even if the User violates these Terms.

6. Final Provisions

6.1. These terms are governed by Polish law. Any disputes will be resolved in courts located in the jurisdiction of AudioNote’s registered office.

6.2. If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

Before using the AudioNote web application, please read these terms carefully.

The AudioNote web application provides transcription and summarization services utilizing the OpenAI API. To use the application, you must be at least 18 years old. You must also provide a valid email address to create an account.

The User agrees not to use the application to process recordings: Containing legal or medical secrets, With sensitive data (e.g., national ID numbers, biometric data), Subject to industry-specific regulations (e.g., GDPR in healthcare).

3. Intellectual Property

All content and materials available in the AudioNote web application, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, are owned by AudioNote or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

4. Limitation of Liability

AudioNote does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of transcription and summarization services. AudioNote is not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the application.

AudioNote does not guarantee the accuracy of the service for specialized terminology (e.g., legal, medical) and explicitly discourages its use in these fields.

5. Privacy Policy

Use of the AudioNote web application is subject to our Privacy Policy, available on our website.

6. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AudioNote, its affiliates, officers, directors, agents, and employees from any claims or demands, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of the application, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any rights of others.

11. Abuse of Free Credits

Abusing free credits by creating multiple accounts is prohibited. Detected abuse will result in account closure and permanent suspension.
